The Admission is done on Entrance exam bases. So you have to be ready for giving an entrance exam to get admission in Lucknow University.
So, The admission process has few steps
- Filling of Online Admission form for entrance Exam. This year it’s different, I will tell you in detail below.
- After Entrance Exam Answer keys will be published and then final will be declared.
- Merit list and waiting list for counselling is published.
- Counselling – Subject/course selection and submission of course fees.
- Submit documents like TC, character certificate, Mark sheet photocopy etc.
Lucknow University Admission Form filling Last Date
The filling of online admission form has started on 28th of March 2023. The Last date to fill Lucknow University Admission Form is 31st May 2023.
Lucknow University Admission Form Fees
For General and OBC Stuents the fees for filling online admission form for Lucknow university is 800 INR.
For SC/ST/PH(Any category) the fees of form filling is 400 INR.

How to fill Lucknow University Admission Form
- The first step is you have to get Lucknow University Registration number from this portal LURN. You have to fill the form note down your LURN(Lucknow University Registration number).
- Then, You have to fill the LURN no here in this page Lucknow University Admission Form and then you will be able to fill the form completely.
- Fill All the details
- Zero Fees for SC/ST and Discount for OBC – if You are a SC/ST/OBC student You can choose zero fees option and you will get free admission and government will pay your fees at the end of each year when you fill scholarship from each year in July. Also, please get ready your caste certificate and Income certificate of your father. These certificated just take 20 days maximum to be newly made through cyber cafe. You will have to show these certificates in counselling to get zero fees benefit.
- About Marks filling before 12th class results declaration. You just have to fill the roll number if your result is not declared yet and put 0 in fields of marks.
- Upload your photograph, sign and all correct details.
Entrance Exam for Admission in Lucknow University
The entrance exam for Lucknow University admission is not tough enough and you can easily score higher if you prepare well. You have to appear for entrance exam give you best take your green coloured carbon copy of answers you have filled.
Answer key is released few days after Lucknow University Admission Entrance Exam. Match your score and then Final result of how much you have scored in entrance exam is also released. You can check your result with your admit card details.
Counselling or Merit List of Lucknow University Admission
Few Days after Lucknow University releases the entrance exam result. It Also releases the Merit list for Selected Students for counselling. The counselling list is declared one by one in few intervals of days after days.
If your name is on the counselling or merit list then you have to appear for counselling in Lucknow university old campus on the given date for counselling.
There you have to take all documents with you, course fees and be prepared for secondary subjects because each set of 3 subjects have limited seats. Also take caste and income certificate if you are willing for zero fees otherwise no requirement of these two.
Your subjects will be chosen, your fees will submit you will get your allotment letter and then you will have to jsut submit you documents in month of july in your corresponding department for me being BSC student it was science department nearest to gate no 4 or 3.
