CBSE class 10 board exams

There are total of six subjects of exams in CBSE class 10 board exams. Every paper or subject consists of maximum marks 100. But, Students appear for only 80 marks question paper and the rest 20 marks are given by school by assessing the student in tests, project files and experiments, etc. So, Total of one subject by adding 20 and 80 becomes 100.

There are six subjects, so all total maximum marks become 600 and students must score highest to get top ranks and high percentage in their school, local districts, city, and state. So, According to CBSE minimum marks for passing CBSE 10th Class Result are 198. That means a student must at least core 198 marks for passing 10th class cbse result and be promoted to next class 11th.

Minimum conditions for passing CBSE 10th class Result 2024

  • Student’s total marks must be at least 198 or more.
  • Students must attain minimum marks for passing in at least five papers out of six. If he fails to do so and is fail inmore than two subjects, then he is fail overall, and then he has to repeat the 10th class.

If a student fails in only one or two subjects then he has the chance to re appear for those one or two subjects in the same year in July month and he can then be promoted to class 11th same year without repeating 10th class and not wasting one year.

Latest Update as of now 20th May 2024 – Important there will be no negative marking and also the marking will not be hard. Marks for diagrams as well as for steps(step marking) will be given.

CBSE 10th Class Compartment exam for Fail in Subject

If a student failed in not more than two subjects out of six, then he has the opportunity to re-appear for exam of those two subjects. This repeat exam for students who failed in one or two subjects only is conducted by cbse and termed as CBSE 10th Class Compartment exam

You can get admission in lucknow university for different courses like B.Sc. Maths, B.Sc. Bio, B.Sc., B.A, B.A. Maths, B.Com, BCA, BBA, Diploma in PHARMACY, B.EL.ED. Programmes etc.

The Admission is done on Entrance exam bases. So you have to be ready for giving an entrance exam to get admission in Lucknow University.

So, The admission process has few steps

  1. Filling of Online Admission form for entrance Exam. This year it’s different, I will tell you in detail below.
  2. After Entrance Exam Answer keys will be published and then final will be declared.
  3. Merit list and waiting list for counselling is published.
  4. Counselling – Subject/course selection and submission of course fees.

  • The first step is you have to get Lucknow University Registration number from this portal LURN. You have to fill the form note down your LURN(Lucknow University Registration number).
  • Then, You have to fill the LURN no here in this page Lucknow University Admission Form and then you will be able to fill the form completely.
  • Fill All the details
    • Zero Fees for SC/ST and Discount for OBC – if You are a SC/ST/OBC student You can choose zero fees option and you will get free admission and government will pay your fees at the end of each year when you fill scholarship from each year in July. Also, please get ready your caste certificate and Income certificate of your father. These certificated just take 20 days maximum to be newly made through cyber cafe. You will have to show these certificates in counselling to get zero fees benefit.
  • About Marks filling before 12th class results declaration. You just have to fill the roll number if your result is not declared yet and put 0 in fields of marks.
  • Upload your photograph, sign and all correct details.

Entrance Exam for Admission in Lucknow University

The entrance exam for Lucknow University admission is not tough enough and you can easily score higher if you prepare well. You have to appear for entrance exam give you best take your green coloured carbon copy of answers you have filled.

Answer key is released few days after Lucknow University Admission Entrance Exam. Match your score and then Final result of how much you have scored in entrance exam is also released. You can check your result with your admit card details.

Counselling or Merit List of Lucknow University Admission

Few Days after Lucknow University releases the entrance exam result. It Also releases the Merit list for Selected Students for counselling. The counselling list is declared one by one in few intervals of days after days.

If your name is on the counselling or merit list then you have to appear for counselling in Lucknow university old campus on the given date for counselling.

There you have to take all documents with you, course fees and be prepared for secondary subjects because each set of 3 subjects have limited seats. Also take caste and income certificate if you are willing for zero fees otherwise no requirement of these two.

Your subjects will be chosen, your fees will submit you will get your allotment letter and then you will have to jsut submit you documents in month of july in your corresponding department for me being BSC student it was science department nearest to gate no 4 or 3.
