B.A -B.ed vs B.Ed vs B.EL.Ed, All of three are teaching related courses that provide Bachelor’s degree. But there are some differences in them related to duration, valuation, availability in nearby colleges, etc. Let us know each one by one.

B.A- B.ed or B.Sc – B.Ed (Integrated) – This course has two variants one for science students to pursue B.Sc – B.Ed course and other for anyone to pursue B.A- B.Ed course.

This course has the duration of 4 years, It provides you degree in both B.A or B.Sc and B.ed. It is a new integrated course introduced by UGC. In First two years student gets B.A/ B.Sc degree then in next 2 years you student studies B.Ed and get b.ed degree after it.

Minimum eligibility for a student to pursue B.A- B.ed or B.Sc – B.Ed (Integrated) Integrated course is after 12th class with 50% or more marks.

After Completing. B.A – B.Ed / B.Sc – B.Ed you can apply for teaching job exams CTET, TET,SUPERTET and TGT.

After clearing CTET AND TET you can get teaching job upto 8th class in govt and primary schools. After clearing TGT you can apply for jobs of teaching upto 10th class students in government and private schools.

Just right after completing graduation you don’t have to study B.ed(2 years) separately because then it will take 4 years for graduation and 2 years for B.Ed, total of six years to become a teacher. So, You can do this just in 4 years by pursuing B.A – B.Ed and save 2 important years.

You get two degrees B.A with B.Ed or B.Sc with B.Ed.

This is the main course for becoming a teacher. B.Ed course has duration of 2 years. After completing 2 Years B.Ed course you get B.ed degree which is exactly same as you get in B.A – B.Ed. There is no difference in both degrees.

Minimum Eligibility

As student can only pursue B.Ed course after graduation in any stream with 50% or more marks. So, Minimum eligiblity is graduation in any stream (B.A , B.Com, B.Sc).

Difference between B.A – B.Ed, B.Ed and B.el.ed

B.EL.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary education) eligibility, course duration

This course has duration of four years, A student can pursue this course after 12th class with any stream. The only catch and difference is that after pursuing this course you can apply for teaching job exams for upto class 8th only. You can not give TGT exam which is required for teaching upto class 10th.

Minimum eligibilty

Class 12th with any stream and upto 50% or more marks.
