SBI Clerk Mains examination Result 2024 Release date

SBI Clerk mains examination result will be released after 4th June as per SBI’s recent notice. The delay in result declaration is due to ongoing elections, which is also told by SBI in the said notice. SBI Junior Assistcant(clerk) which was conducted on 25th February and 4th March 2024. I had also appeared for main examination and attempted 77 questions out of which 19 were from General awareness, 38 questions in English, 12 from reasoning and 10 from Maths.

I had scored 60.25 marks (SC candidate) my category cut off was around 53, but I nearly cleared general cutoff 60.5. The number of questions I had attempted were 68 because One puzzle ruined my reasoning section as I had spent all time on solving that when i had left 10 minutes and I could have easily managed to score 10+ more marks.

So this was all background story. I had lost hope that I will be able to clear SBI clerk prelims examination and I also suffered 10-15 days sickness just after exam and that is the reason I stopped preparing for mains examination.

Then, Suddenly after a month of wait, SBI Clerk prelims result was declared on 15th of February and I got t know about it on the next morning. Daily, I used to check sarkari result website for SBI Clerk result and that morning I saw the result is declared. I immediately checked my result and I saw you are selected for mains examination.

I was not happy but rather in shock that as I have cleared prelims now but my mains examinations is on 25th February 9 days later, and I have not even prepared for mains exam once.

Furthermore, I must tell you I had just started preparing for bank exams six months ago, and I was being sharpened day by day but most of the easy or average examinations were gone and this was the last of the bank exams of the previous year.

Another surprise was that I was the only one of few of the ones who were sent to other city 100 km far from my city in the very morning to appear for mains examination. I had to depart hours earlier at night around 4am. I just reached there by time and appeared for SBI Clerk mains examination.

So, If you are a beginner or have appeared for mains exam but failed to clear it because of the difficulty level of reasoning and maths. I am telling you the best way to crack SBI clerk mains exam.

Firstly, In SBI clerk mains examinations there is no sectional cut off that means you can even just prepare for only two subjects if you are best in them and clear the cut off score but you have to be the best in the two you are targetting. Also, you can even leave the rest two sections if your accuracy is good but you dont have to just do 10 – 10 questions from least favourable two sections because you cant skip the time.

You will have to sit and wait for the time to pass in each sectiondepending on you are targeting the section or not.

What’s the trick to clear sbi clerk mains ?

So, The trick is targeting General awareness. You might say it is very tough but so are others you might solve 1000s of puzlles and quant questions but still you will not be able to solve them with speed in mains exam. But if you give 2- 3 hours dail to general awareness banking related. It will be very easy for you to score 40 marks in general awareness. And one other subject you are best at, for me its English. I can easily score good marks in english.

Now, even If my accuracy may be bad a bit, i will have time to solve at least 10 -10 questions from reasoning and quant which can be easily done by anybody.

So, clear prelims examination and fully fpocus on general awarenss because you don’t have to do a lot of hard work but just 2-2 hours daily to maintain consistency and it will help a lot and game changer in mains examination.
